...and yet more materials

Following on from previous posts, here's a quick update on more of the features going back into The Adam and Eve:

The very large Victorian double doors that separate the two new function rooms on the first floor (previously the manager's living room, kitchen and bedroom) were reclaimed from the Prince Albert pub in Camden, London NW1. They were no longer required at the Albert as the rooms they were in were opened up to create a restaurant, but they fit beautifully in their new home.

The centrepiece of the new back bar at the Adam will be created using parts from a turn of the century bookcase. The remainder of the piece will be used as storage throughout the building.

You will be able to see all these pieces and more at the open evening tonight from 7.30pm. Don't forget it will be a building site that you will be entering so please dress appropriately.
