The strip out continues at a steady rate. We've removed all the old furniture, fixtures, fittings, carpet and redundant studwork as well as the rather peculiar partial lowered ceiling in the bar area, that seemed to be one of the main reasons why there was so little natural light there.
We would, however, really like to hear the views of locals and former regulars about what ideas they may have for the layout and/or design of the ground floor areas and perhaps some of the function facilities we would like to put in at first floor level. So, we've decided to set up an evening in September where anyone interested can pop along, see some rough (very rough, perhaps) ideas and give us some feedback and advice. The date is yet to be confimred but soon as we have it, I'll post it here as well as in front of the pub itself.
We would like to hear from as many different interested parties as possible, so do please let others know about this opportunity for locals to help put the Adam and Eve back on its feet.
But for now, it's back to work!!
