The diggers are in...

After a fair while umming and ahhing over how best to use the proposed extension and how best to plan it out, we've finally sorted ourselves out and the builders have finally broken ground.

As I sit here typing the diggers are busy doing what they do best in preparation for the foundations and ground beams to go in.

When complete the extension and the kitchen housed in part of it will give additional flexibility particularly on the ground floor and garden area: we will serve most food for those areas from this new kitchen and we hope to incorporate a pizza oven, rotisserie and bbq into the final design, giving additional choice to casual diners.
