Rugby World Cup 2011

The countdown is on to the 2011 Rugby World Cup held, this time around, in New Zealand with the first game (New Zealand v Tonga) kicking off on the 9th September.

As it's on the other side of the planet, the games are mainly due to kick off early(ish) in the morning our time. So we intend to open early to screen the England games (and other home nation games if there is a Celtic riot outside our doors) and serve up a good English breakfast to accompany what we hope to be gloriously triumphant victories.

First England game is scheduled for Saturday 10th September and will be a good test for the boys against a strong Argentinian team. KO is at 9.30am.

We hope to be able to record games and show them later the same day as well, for those sleepy heads who couldn't drag themselves out of bed in time.

For those with absolutely no interest in rugby (peculiar people), we promise not to fill the pub with rowdy rugger types when you are trying to enjoy yourselves...unless of course you turn up in the morning.

All fixtures are available here.
