As the UK plunges into what feels like winter, our beautiful garden remains underused thanks mainly to the torrential rain and Arctic winds that seem to be the feature of this year's 'summer'.
Not to worry!! We will again attempt to brave the elements this weekend with our weekly bbq from about 5pm on Sunday afternoon and running into the evening.
Also, I am aware that there has been great interest in the new extension that we're (slowly) putting up in the back garden.
Ground conditions and builder holidays have meant that the opening for this has had to be pushed back to sometime in October, but we will keep you posted, as we hope to have a bit of a party to mark the opening, and obviously we'd like to invite our friends and neighbours!
We've got a fantastic value curry evening planned for the end of August and some great live music on Sunday 28th August in the form of the Terry Donovan Trio from 7pm.
Plus, we have an Italian themed evening coming up on the 21st September as well as a fish week from 26th September. So watch this space for more details on these!!
BTW, we will be closed for a private party from approx 6pm on Saturday 24th September...so we thought we'd give you plenty of advanced warning...just in case!!
